Star Wars 501st Legion Singapore Durian Challenge

Star Wars 501st Legion Singapore Durian Challenge

This is a quirky Blog about Durians and the Star Wars 501st Legion Singapore Garrison’s fun obsession with the pungent king of fruits. They even had exclusive durian patches made!

It is no secret that people either love or hate durians. Some say durians smells like dead corpse. Hogwash!

For the record, I love durians, I only eat the “Mao Shan Wang” (Musang King or “Cat Mountain King”) type.

Every time an overseas 501st Legion visitor comes to Singapore, they will make it a point to meet up with their local 501st friends for an eating session.

The 501st Legion Singapore Garrison Cosplayers love to have their own personalised beautiful and creative Challenge Coins and Patches. They like to swap their challenge coins and patches with 501st Legion overseas visitors. Read my “501st Challenge Coins” blog.

In 2018, the fun folks at Singapore Garrison decided to make cool 501st Legion “Singapore Durian Challenge” patches for those visitors who dare to devour the infamous pungent fruit. I earned both of the existing cool durian patches.
