Daddy Cool

Daddy Cool

This Blog celebrates Super Daddies on Fathers Day, 21 June 2026. It would be remiss of me not to celebrate the Super Mummies (Mothers Day, 10 May 2026) out there too.

This Blog is for da daddies, grand daddies, god-daddies, single dads etc. out there in the world reading this blog.

I also want to acknowledge the sacrifices and patience my Daddy (John, the yang) and Mummy (Jenny, the yin) dispensed to me during the formative stages of my Life.

“A happy family is but an earlier heaven.” – George Bernard Shaw

No Mummy, No Honey (above image). That’s my saying. Yes, and “No Wife, No Life”.

Straits Times Article

My Prominent Straits Times Interview (above image). As in all my interviews with the media (newspapers, magazines, radio, TV, and internet), I try to slip in a word of thanks to my parents. That way, they “live” on in the ether (cyberspace or media). Yes, John and Jenny likes to look cool.

My Life Journey Comments On The Wall In My Solo Rock Photography Exhibition (above image). My third pinnacle? Ask my Kids.

What good is it when you have tons of achievements and have no one to celebrate them with. A word of thanks to Jeffrey Koh (Flabslab) for organising my solo rock photography exhibition.

My Life Journey Executive Summary, Courtesy of AI (above image). Sometimes when I go on Google to search for stuff, there will be sudden AI pop-ups. If nothing else, it makes for amusing reading. Too bad, I’m not in LinkedIn, or any social media. Once a prominent member of Slipknot invited me to join LinkedIn decades ago. He’s still in the band.

The Three Stages Of My Life Journey (above image). I even got the three life stages engraved onto my bracelet – “Head Honcho : Rock Photographer : Daddy“. I put my CV (life stages) succinctly on a bracelet. Keep things simple is best. Guess which one is the most crucial to me? See them cool rings?

My Daughter’s Drawing of Family – 1 (above image). A picture of innocence.

Besides my family’s quirky gifts to me, I treasure the drawings my daughter gives to me especially during Father’s Day, Christmas Day and my Birthday. In addition to the drawings, my family will write their husband/fatherly appreciation messages to me (my daddy report card). The drawings are usually of a compact size so I can keep it unfolded (amongst countless other drawings over the decades) in my Bible (book of love).

My Family’s Daddy’s Day 2026 Gift To Me (above image). Used (battle-worn) US New Hampshire 2016 license plate. Far from being a real-life Superhero, but hey, I’ll take the back-handed compliment. “Live Free Or Die” indeed.

HAPPY DADDY COOL DAY!
