This is a Blog about my beloved, iconic Slash print display enjoying a prominent spot at the Bar 1200 of the legendary Sunset Marquis Hotel and how it was featured in a video interview with Slash in the upcoming rockumentary, “If These Walls Could Rock” on the iconic, storied Sunset Marquis Hotel (to me, the Hotel California), directed by Tyler Measom and Craig A. Williams.
I’m proud to have my beloved Slash print display being prominently displayed at the iconic hotel and be featured in the rockumentary, humbly as an interview backdrop.
Sunset Marquis Hotel, to me, is the Hotel California. A synopsis for the rockumentary touts the “debaucherous” hotel as a “hideaway where rock stars checked in, passed out, and made history”.
The 93 minute rockumentary about George (the father who built the hotel) and Mark (the son who saved the hotel) Rosenthal. It features Bruce Springsteen, Ringo Starr, Slash, Morrissey, Dave Grohl, Nancy Wilson, Sheryl Crow, Darius Rucker and many rock & roll icons.

Bar 1200 is fondly known as the “Rock and Roll office” and a modern day speakeasy. I’m mighty proud to have my Slash display enjoying a prominent pillar spot there.

My Slash Display In A Rare Serene Bar Setting (above internet image). Around the Slash display are other iconic rock photographic displays by my more-esteemed rock photographer buddies, also represented by the legendary Morrison Hotel Gallery, situated in the hotel lobby.

In another video interview, the legendary ex-Beatle Ringo Starr was also interviewed next to my iconic Slash display (above internet image), promoting the sale of his photographic prints. Not only is Ringo Starr a Rock and Roll Hall of Famer (twice!), he is an accomplished photographer with a great visual eye.
