On 4 July 2026 (Saturday), Kitaro-san, his wife Franci and I caught up for a fun four-hour dinner, whilst on their private visit to Singapore. It’s always a delightful treat sharing a fun meal with the Kitaros.
Fun Dinner at the Tanglin Club (above image). We ate and chatted till we were the last guests in the restaurant. After that, the restaurant staff asked to take photographs with Kitaro-san.
It’s always fun to catch up with Mr. and Mrs. Kitaro-san whenever they are in town, Especially special when they request to have dinner with me on their private visit, instead of during a busy concert tour.

Kitaro Signing My “Thinking Of You” CD Cover (above image). This Album (vinyl and CD) has special significance for both Kitaro and me.
It, not only, bagged Kitaro a glorious Grammy Award for “Best New Age Album” (2001) but the CD artwork features my B/W portrait of him shot during soundcheck at one of his sold-out concerts.
