It was an easy decision to make – either spending last night (30 April 2025) at a Marvel “Thunderbolts” movie premiere or hanging out with my Superhero Buddies at the annual Strength Fiesta extravaganza.
This would be the second time I was invited to help out in the Strength Fiesta event. Do read my “Innocence” blog on my adventures at the first event. This year, for event photography purposes, I coordinated with the fast-moving and busy Ms. Chan Hui Mui. So fast, I did not manage to have a photo with her.

My colourful and cheerful “I’M SUPER SPECIAL / I’M A SUPERHERO” flight tags (above image). I had spares from last year’s event so at this event I gave out all my flight tags to my Buddies. All the buddies’ parents were so happy their kids each received a flight tag. Thanks to Jeffrey Koh of Flabslab for making the flight tags.
For this year, Strength Fiesta 2025 hosted 130 Superhero Buddies.
To my flight tag recipients, I made sure to tell each and every one of my Superhero Buddies, to their faces, that they were indeed “My Superheroes”.
What can I say, I have a soft Heart for my Superhero Buddies.

The Guest of Honour, Dr. Teo-Koh Sock Miang (President of Singapore Disability Sports Council), about to sound the air horn to start the fitness exercises (above image). “Er, will this be LOUD?!” Haha. Everyone had a great and fun time at Strength Fiesta.

Khit gamefully became Elvis Presley (above image) in his iconic American Eagle jumpsuit to provide entertainment for the Buddies, their parents and care-givers as well as event organisers and volunteers at the event. He sang the appropriate Elvis iconic “Can’t Help Falling In Love” song.

It’s been a long time since I was bestowed with a meaningful Medal (above image). Thanks, Khit! Photos courtesy of Edmund Koh.

My sentimental Strength Fiesta medals (above image). For my contributions, 2025 and 2024 medals respectively.

Happy Group Pix of Organisers and Volunteers in wrapping up a successful and awesome Strength Fiesta 2025 extravaganza (above image). Wow, time flies when you’re having fun. Thus marks the conclusion of another fruitful and fun annual Strength Fiesta extravaganza. Kudos to every kind soul who helped out at the event! Photo courtesy of Edmund Koh.
Here’s to the next one!
