Dr. Clem Burke

Dr. Clem Burke

Like everyone in the music world, I am shocked and sad, moments ago, at the news of the untimely passing of my buddy, the incomparable Dr. Clem Burke.

Whenever we met whether in New York, Woodstock or Singapore, he was always kind, supportive and fun towards me.

Clem Burke Signed Drumsticks (above image). Clem suddenly handed these drumsticks to me (already signed) during a soundcheck right on stage. Shows the immense kindness of the man. These are displayed in a prominent spot in the living room at my home.

Birthday Greeting to the Good Doctor

My Birthday Greeting to Dr. Clem Burke (above image). We would always email each other – “one way or another”.

I want to pay homage to Clem Burke, my dear friend and one of the good guys in the music industry through my images of the great Clem Burke over the years below.

Enjoy the legacy of the great Backbeat of Blondie.

Rest In Beats, Dr. Clem Burke! I shall miss you greatly, Clem!
