Avoid Acute Angles

Avoid Acute Angles

This is a light-hearted fun Blog on Sidestepping ConflictsAvoid Acute Angles.

Avoiding acute angles are avoiding unnecessary confrontations which causes ulcers over the long run.

I always say – Laughter Does Not Cause Cancer!

As my weathered Hard Rock Cafe pin implies (above image) – No Stress! – Avoid The Acute Angles! This blog is also an opportunity to share images of my fun pins.

Ever notice there’s plenty of angst floating around these days? I am not on any social media as there’s too much noise (gossips, complains, scams, fake news, negative vibes) out there. I soak in helpful information during my Quiet Times.

A good conversation comprises laughs, jokes, encouragement and asking about the family.

I almost never eat with the Know-it-alls or the No-it-alls (everything is a no).

My interactions and appetite increase with people who are forthcoming; those who withhold, not so much. Communication is two-way back and forth, yes?

My friends know that when I have lunches or dinners with them, the Main Ingredients of a Wonderful Meal are their Company, sprinkled with generous doses of hearty, belching laughter. I have these fun meals two or three times a week.

My delicious simple fresh fish meal last night (4 April 2025) with my ex-classmate (above image). I’ve known LYS for over 50 years. We try to meet up for fun meals once every three weeks.

You don’t have to sell your left leg for a good meal.

My favourite post-meal activity – take a long leisurely stroll to “walk off lunch/dinner”, complemented with a casual chat to help with food digestion.

My meals with my buddies are always fun, avoiding acute angles, always ending with “a damn fine cup of Joe”.

“Unlike the brain, the stomach alerts you when it’s empty.” – African proverb.

Once a famous friend asked me whether I read of his mishap in the newspaper, I said yes. He asked why I didn’t ask him about it, like his other friends. I simply replied, “Friends will ask, good friends will know what not to ask.”

My IDK, IDC, IDGAF pin (above image). When I saw this amusing pin in a local knick-knacks shop the other day, I bought it. Which made me write this fun blog. I am a passive collector of fun pins.

I share with you some fun pins I came across on the internet below.
