Artificial Intelligence (AI) is upon us whether we like it or not. Remember, it is Artificial.
When I acquired the following used “AI BULL” license plate, it was to me, literally, a Sign of the times.
“AI BULL” equals to either AI Bullshit or AI Bulldoze. Like previous inventions (the internet, anyone?) in advancing our lives or lifestyles, advancements are either met with embrace, denial, indifference or scorn.
Is AI your friend or fiend? One man’s poison is another man’s reason.
I’ve often told my friends, Finance (as with AI) is like a stallion, it either rides you or you ride it.

Whichever way you chose, you are right. That’s always been the way Life swings.
Alan Mathison Turing, the Father of Artificial Intelligence (above internet image). The early study of Artificial Intelligence started in 1935 with the research of a British mathematician and logician Alan Turing.
In 1950, Alan Turing published his landmark paper, “Computing Machinery and Intelligence”, proposing the “Turing Test” to evaluate machine capability.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is the ability of a digital computer or computer-controlled robot to perform tasks associated with intelligent beings.
In the end, it is my Hope that Art smoothens the handiwork of Science. The heart (software) encompasses the intellect (hardware).
As for me, I much prefer Human Wisdom (HW), thank you very much! Wisdom transcends intelligence.
“Human Wisdom”, my term, is a loveable and chaotic hodgepodge gumbo of intelligence, human experience and experimentations, mixed with doses of disappointments, frustrations, lessons learnt, romance, human urges, tears, longings, ambitions, impatience, scars, arrogance, swear words, sweat, (insert your personal shortcomings here) and feelings. And finally, finishing off with a generous counter-balance outpouring of laughter, hope, dreams, mojo and pixie dust. The ultimate outcome is the Secret Sauce – Human Wisdom (Instinct and Intuition). An AI-savvy friend who didn’t like the overwhelming blue hue caused by the ambient black light, “cleaned up” the image and forwarded it to me. My reaction to his kind, surprise image was “WAH”.
