Last night (6 September 2025), I spent a glorious photo session with Welcome To The Machine local band who plays seriously great Pink Floyd music.
Welcome To The Machine (WTTM) is Asia’s only Pink Floyd tribute band.
The accomplished band of musicians came together 12 years ago, comprising of current members, Lim Kiang (77), Noel Ong (53), David Baptista (55), Arindam Chatterjee (51), Laurence Bucci (51) and Andrew Yerkes (58).
Just six friends with day-time jobs, from banking executives to sales managers, with Pink Floyd music flowing in their hearts. No manager, no big sponsors, no nada. Just having fun. My respect to you, guys! That’s why I want to shoot your gigs. Thanks for the chance!
Come 12 and 13 September, WTTM will be confidently undertaking their most ambitious project – an almost sold-out of Pink Floyd’s 1979 “The Wall” album at the Singtel Waterfront Theatre, featuring a 20 piece live orchestra and choir. The show features a spectacular sound and light (laser) show, with giant projection wall and actual (faux) brick walls.

Almost Sold Out!!! Get Your Tickets Now! A splendid Pink Floyd extravanga is guaranteed for all on both nights.
Last night, I captured the awesome rehearsal session of Welcome To The Machine for their upcoming concerts at a secret non-descript location.
It was like listening to “The Wall” double album, only louder and the musicians were several feet away!
