Around this time of the year, I always look forward to hanging out at Singapore Comic Convention (6, 7 & 8 December 2024), to celebrate a fun ending to an eventful year. It was awesome, once again, to hang out with my Star Wars 501st Garrison buddies.
With my Singapore Comic Convention “Exhibitor” pass (above image), I’m ready to roam the massive two-storeys (Floor 1 and Basement 2) dedicated to the Comic Con convention halls at the iconic Marina Bay Sands (MBS).
I especially like being at the setting-up stage on 6 December, Friday (no public allowed) in catching up with the artistic folks (local and overseas creative talents), making new friends and catching with the old ones. A great time to see what’s on display and what’s available for sale before the public gets to see (or buy) the goodies.

Patrons paid S$10 for a group shot taken with Star Wars characters. I played my part by helping to photograph group pix whenever possible.
My Charity Acquisitions – Star Wars Collectors Cards Stash (above image). S$10 per card. I see there’s some cards with signatures. All charity proceeds go to Kadang Kerbau Women’s and Children’s Hospital.
Always fun to mingle with photo-ready, smiles-ready, pose-perfect, intricately-crafted iconic character costumes. All is here to have a great, fun time.
