I spent a glorious four days, 4-7 December, Thursday to Sunday, at the annual Singapore Comic Convention 2025. As with every year, it was held at the majestic Marina Bay Sands Convention Centre. Thursday (4 December) was Set-up Day.
I want to thank (as always), the Star Wars 501st Legion Singapore Garrison for the chance to hang out at their booth.
I always look forward to this happy and vibrant event to end the year right, on a child-like upbeat and optimistic mood – with like-minded creative and fun tribes.
As always, I caught up with old buddies and made new friends.

We celebrated his wife Franci’s birthday. Together with Kitaro’s long-time friends and their wives, who also celebrated their birthdays in December!.

Piyush Gupta (above image). The day after the comic Convention, I attended another meeting, totally opposite from the comic world, this is of a hard-core finance and banking territory. Piyush is a highly respected local financial superhero of sorts.
Note: I’m wearing a more corporate-apt, casual seersucker jacket (ahem, with pocket square), different from those battle-worn jackets I wore at the comic convention. You can tell, I love my jackets.
