From Crayons to Perfumes, from Suits to Stars.
I recently acquired two toy figures by Hirono Toys which vividly reminded me of the two stages in my Life Journey.
Although the toy designer Lang named this series Shelter, I think the word Aspiration would be more appropriate, at least, in my case. And I told Lang so when we hung out recently.

The first half of my Life was that of a clean-shaven, SUIT-wearing head honcho in the management consulting arena (above image).
The second half of my Life was that of a bearded Rock Photographer, photographing and hanging with rock STARS.
The crucial link between my first and second half of my Life was that of a Camera, as per the middle Funko Pop figure (above image).
My journeys didn’t start at the top. Fueled by Aspiration (determination and optimism – equal parts), I chose to traverse only the higher ground whenever I came to a crossroad.
The fact that my twin Life callings are direct opposites from one another doesn’t escape me.
These Suited Figures are fond reminders of my corporate past (above image).
As a corporate Head Honcho, I love wearing good suits, jackets, neck ties, cuff links and Rolex time-pieces.
The aspiring rock photographer in me eventually hung out with STARS, the likes of Slash (Guns N’ Roses) and Debbie Harry (Blondie) on several occasions (above image).
My framed and signed prints of Slash and Debbie Harry hang prominently on the walls of Hard Rock Cafes.
Aspirations and Dreams DO come true!
Dream Big!
Be nice to people. Lend a ready, helping hand to others. One step/one day at a time. Stay optimistic. Have quiet time to yourself.
To quote John Lennon, see you at “the topper most of the popper most!”

My personalised Bracelet succinctly (keep it simple) summarises my Lucky Life – Head Honcho : Rock Photographer : Daddy.
Needless to say, the last designation being my most important and proudest achievement!
